The Construction Fresco is a fun, collaborative, educational and creative 3-hour workshop designed to understand the environmental impacts of the construction sector and contribute to its transition.

Working in teams, participants are given cards representing the various components of the construction sector and collectively explore the cause-and-effect relationships between different themes: needs, urban planning, design, construction, use, and their consequences. The workshop raises awareness of various issues, including climate change, biodiversity, pollution, and resource depletion, while providing data to understand the scale and resources involved.

After a 90-minute comprehension phase, participants dedicate 25 minutes to creativity, illustrating their mural and highlighting key messages. They then brainstorm their own action plans and explore 60 cards offering different actions, which they select and discuss collectively. A final 5-minute debriefing summarizes the learning and provides an overview.
